"At the underground bend of Schoenhauser Allee (Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg) teenage boys and one girl meet regularly. Dares degenerating into crude mischiefs let them temporarily forget about their domestic frustration at a drunk step-father, mother's annoying lover or the first criminal derailments. Karl-Heinz drags Dieter and Kohle into his dark deeds. After alleged homicide the three boys flee into West Berlin. Just Dieter returns and accomplishes an honest fresh start." Danger over Germany (Gefahr über Deutschland):
"This b/w-documentary, into which considerable archive footage has been cut, reports on the hope of lasting peace and reunification which was sought in all over Germany by a referendum under the motto 'remilitarisation and in favour of a peace treaty in 1951'. Having stark voice-overs and accompanied by emotive music, the disadvantages of capatalism are displayed and it is warned against armament and militarism. This propaganda film is a depicted example of the Class Conflict in the world and emerged at the Cold War's peak." (Quelle: defa-stiftung.deExternal link)
The Musici:
"Four gentlemen play domestic music with abandon and zeal. They don't let themselves get disturbed by any event. One of the four is put behind bars by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution because of his scientific papers are published in the GDR. A NATO exercise runs riot around the house and invades the civic private life. The roof catches fire and half of the house collapses. The musicians go on playing in accordance with the known canon: 'Sky and Earth must pass away, the Musici however will persist.'" (Quelle: Die Trick-Fabrik.
