"This b/w-documentary, into which considerable archive footage has been cut, reports on the hope of lasting peace and reunification which was sought in all over Germany by a referendum under the motto 'remilitarisation and in favour of a peace treaty in 1951'. Having stark voice-overs and accompanied by emotive music, the disadvantages of capatalism are displayed and it is warned against armament and militarism.
