Elodie Sacher is a cultural researcher with a special interest in Visual Culture. She studied Cultural and Media studies in Hildesheim and Casablanca. In addition to her Master’s course in Art History and Film Studies, she has been working at the Junior Professorship for Digital Humanities since 2022, including for the "Digital4Humanities" project and in teaching.
Research focus:
- Orientalist photography in WANA (West Asia and North Africa)
- The history of photography in Morocco
- The visual representation of the ruler and rulership in Morocco
- Retrieval and analysis of digital museum data (API, Python)
